Motorcycle Dent Repair

Dents in motorcycle tanks and fenders can be repaired using the PDR method. They are usually more difficult to repair because of the thickness of the steel, so choose wisely when you need to hire a technician to do your repairs. You usually only have one chance to get it right.

 

Most tanks will need to be removed from the bike to perform the repairs. This will allow more access to repair the damage, and prevent damaging other parts of the bike. Fenders can sometimes be repaired on the bike, but it depends on the location of the damage. Sometimes clearance between the tire and fender is too tight to work between.

 

If you live outside of my service area, you can send me the part you need repaired. The tank or fender will be mounted to a secure stand for repairs, and you will have photos of the completed repairs sent via email or text before your part is shipped back. You will also receive the same lifetime written warranty* I provide for my other repairs.
